9:00-9:15

Arrival, Greetings, Informal conversation.

9:15-9:45 

Discovery time:  Free choice among a variety of activities in the learning centers: literacy, reading, writing/listening, manipulatives, dramatic, cooking, science, sand/water, music, etc.

9:45-10:00    

Clean up & a circle time of songs. Including traditional Jewish songs of prayer, charity (tzedakah), and friendship.

10:00-10:15

Snack Time

10:15-10:30

Music and Movement: Songs with motions and Finger Plays connecting to the day's theme.

10:30-11:15

Active Play (indoors or outdoors, weather permitting) Use of equipment and games.

11:15-11:30

Circle Time with music, stories and games to introduce the theme and its concepts.

11:30- 12:15

Project time: Opportunities for children to chooose between 2 or 3 projects/centers to further explore the theme and sharpen specific skills. Children who have finished early have a chance to pull out the "Magic Carpet Activities" which provide them with a chance to choose a transition game they can play on their own. Washing hands, Lunch and Conversation.

12:15-12:45

Story Time and relaxation.
