Enjoy this clip of an old yiddish song. The song tells of Jewish children in the old little 'cheder' (classroom) learning the letter "aleph" (the first letter in the Hebrew Alphabet). It is the pure and holy letter "aleph" that gives them the inner strength pf Jewish survival.

In addition to the immense humanitarian aid Chabad of the West Coast continues to provide for the victims of this tragic blaze, Chabad's Camp Gan Israel of Loving Kindness (located in Running Springs, CA) acted as a hub for firefighters. They were nourished (Jewish style) and housed in the camp cabins.
